We Walk We Pray (3WP)
We Walk, We Pray is a non-denominational intercessory platform delivering the realities of God and the nation. Since inception in December 2018, the 3WP movement has been an active voice in interceding for the nation.
During the first edition of the walk, we had over 1500 Christians from over 52 denominations, who prayed across the streets of Ibadan. In 2019, we had the 3WP Convergence in February and June at the Cultural Center, Ibadan. While in 14 December 2019, we witnessed another massive prayer walk. This time with almost 2000 participants representing 100 churches. It was a very powerful and prophetic time.
In June 2020, the 3WP movement took a different dimension by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. We held a PRAYER DRIVE, where we had people drive and pray in different Cars. We had up to 80 Cars and few buses with over 200 participants praying and driving in different directions in other to cover the whole city in intercession and make it a point of contact for the entire Nation of Nigeria.
The Polytechnic Ibadan Prayer Walk which held on the 2nd of April, 2022 at the university’s campus recorded a huge success as well. Many people have joined and been engaged in this movement without even knowing its affiliation with the Mission. It’s always awesome to see how GOD moves and His powers manifest when people gather to pray.
On the 10th – 12th of March, 2022, the National Prayer Walk consultation took place in Abuja with representatives of thirty-four (34) states in Nigeria, in attendance. These representatives are leaders of various intercessory group across the country. A working document was developed at the meeting and a board of trustees instituted.
They include:
- Rev. Bayo Famunure-Favor (Founder CAPRO Missions)
- Rev. Steve Olumuyiwa (A LLeading Intercessor in Africa)
- Rev. Debo Daniel
- Pastor Uzomma (Director, Intercessor of Nigeria)
